Bindweed
Bindweed is a plant that climbs its way up and curls around the stem of another plant and eventually suffocates it. If it isn’t ripped out by the root and carefully untangled, the bindweed will tear all of the leaves off of the plant that you’re trying to grow. This also rings true for white supremacy, colonization, carceral systems, patriarchy, cis-heteronormativity, and all of the other things that tear the leaves off of movements. So, rip it out from the root.
